I've just got back from the training day in Cheshire, It's the first time I have been to this particular venue (bloody long way from London!)

It was well worth the journey though, those of you that did make it there on Saturday  - THANK YOU

For those who couldn't make it here's a brief rundown of the day..

A new affiliate starter kit (ASK) is now available, its a box full of promotional materials - DVDs, brochures, flyers, beer mats, etc plus a DMO sheet - What's a DMO? all will be revealed in the next update of the manual. I believe the kit will cost about £55 - seems  a lot of money but I am assured it's a lot cheaper than buying the promotional items separately. For more info on this, please contact member support at

While on the subject of promotional materials, I am told that member support will soon be able to provide us with "personalised" business cards printed with your details on - should look more professional than self adhesive labels! again contact them at the above...

An awful lot of good training was available on the day (you really should try to attend these events) and I will be including anything new in the manual soon as.

Now for the interesting bit!

A lot of the day was spent examining the new website and how to use the advanced tools that are there for us.

Plus! The new Viva Las Vegas site!

There are now new structures within the membership of e-lottery, these are:

Affiliates

Affiliate - first position

Group Affiliate - (GA) - 5 personally sponsored

Senior Affiliate - (SA) - 15 personally sponsored

Executive Affiliate - (EA) - 30 personally sponsored

Co-ordinators

Group co-ordinator - (GC) - 30 personally sponsored and maintained and have an EA in each of 2 separate legs.

Senior Co-ordinator - (SC) - 30 personally sponsored and maintained and have an EA in each of 3 separate legs.

Executive Co-ordinator - (EC) - 30 personally sponsored and maintained and have an EA in each of 4 separate legs.

Directors

Group Director - (GD) - 2 separate legs each with 500 members in the first 7 levels. 1% inf bonus paid on all levels beyond level 7

Senior Director - (SD) - 3 separate legs each with 500 members in the first 7 levels. 1.5% inf bonus paid on all levels beyond level 7

Executive Director - (ED) - 4 separate legs each with 500 members in the first 7 levels. 2% inf bonus paid on all levels beyond level 7

If you don't understand the above - don't worry about it! but if you do want to know more - give me a ring.

So back to Vegas!

The main reason I have just explain all that above is the minimum qualification to got to Vegas is you will need to be an Executive Affiliate. A new website has been built which explains all!

I will be in Vegas! - a bold statement - but I will and you can too...

Just do it - it's not about results - it's about activity - enough activity produces results!

The new DVD

Many new ideas came out at the training about how to use the new DVD to promote e-lottery, if you haven't got any yet, I'm offering you a FREE one to get you started (but they're only £1.30 each anyway)

Click here to let me give you one! (DVD that is!)

One idea was to put it into a sealable plastic bag with a brief letter saying something like "Please take a look, if you are not interested, please just leave in on your doorstep, I will be back to collect it on xxxday"

Then just drop a few through some letter boxes in you local area. I've seen this before, I think "Betterware" do a similar thing. Don't ask me if it works - I've not tried it yet! If you do do this and get any results from it, please let me know. I will be doing it soon and I'll get back to you on what happened.

Converting players to affiliates

One idea that really impressed me was how to convert players to affiliates. It appears many new player members are unaware of the benefits of affiliate membership. So why not just ring any new player members you get and ask them...

"Was there any reason you didn't want to play for free?"

A great opening line that you can use to explain the benefits of affiliate membership.

The prospecting system

Training on the advanced tools section of the website revealed that you can track a prospects path of their visit to you e-lottery website. For instance, you can see who went to your sign up page but didn't join. You can now track this info and send a personal email to that person to ask if they need any help at all - remember building relationships? If they had problems joining and then receive an email from you with a contact phone number, they are going to think, Wow there a human being behind all this! remember people buy from people not machines!

That's it for this time, but as always, if you have any questions or you need any help - just get in touch

All the best

John.
