What You Can Learn About MLM Prospects by
Watching Poker.
Greetings fellow traveller! Long time no see.
You must be famished. Your timing is perfect! I
just made some homemade pizza. Hope you like ham
and mushroom...grab a slice and let me tell you
about my theory of mlm and poker.
When it comes to building downlines in
multi-level marketing, the old adage, "never
judge a book by its cover" are wise words to
heed. Ambitious people come in all shapes,
sizes, colors, ages, and backgrounds. They may
be loud, charismatic and outgoing or shy and
reserved. You can't tell who has the burn to
press on through adversity when building a
business.
In the game of poker, when an adversary pretends
to have a good hand, they usually are weak. You
see the same thing in MLM.
Guys who talk a great game are often missing
after the break. They say things like, "sit back
and relax, because I am going to make you rich!"
If you're smiling and nodding while reading
this, I can only assume you've met this guy. He
gets around a lot....
In poker lingo, it's called a "tell". Strong is
weak, weak is strong. Unless they know that you
know that they know that strong is weak...in
which case they may be holding a monster and
setting you up for a smacking!
In MLM, the deal is always in the activity. Some
guys come in, buy some product, and then want to
rewrite the training manual and build a few
magic websites. Then you see a quiet little
housewife who enrolls 18 people her first month
and can't explain the plan! Who would you spend
the bulk of your time helping? Where is the
highest payoff?
Actions always speak louder than words when
building a business. Give your people small
tasks and monitor their performance. Leadership
shows itself through the completion of tasks.
Watch for men and woman who give their word, and
then honor it.
Above all else, keep the game of mlm lead
generation, recruiting and downline training
fun! Never take it too seriously, and never take
it personally. Just like poker. Remember, every
deck has 4 aces. If you find all 4, you'll win
99.7% of the time!
Eat your crusts...they're good for you!
