Why keep the details of someone who says "NO"

It's 9:00AM Monday, you have just phoned your friend Peter and tried to show him e-lottery and briefly outlined how he could easily be generating a substantial income.

Peter has said NO - NO WAY he's not interested and told you to bugger off and stop bothering him! You thank peter for his time say goodbye and put the phone down rejected and  despondent.

It's now 9:30AM and Peter is sitting at his desk at work. Peter's phone rings, it's his manager. Peter is summoned to his managers office.

Peter goes to his managers office to find out what he wants. Peter's manager explains that the company has had falling sales over the last quarter, overheads have become very high. In order to save the company, cut backs are having to be made and unfortunately Peter is one of those cutbacks. Peter has been made redundant.

It's now 10:00AM You phone peter again and tell him the same things you told him before. Do you think Peter might be a little more interested now?

It's all about timing, just because your prospect has said no this time, doesn't mean he/she will say no forever.

In the example above 9:00AM could be January and 10:00AM could be July - You just don't know how people's circumstances will change. Save their details and contact them again at a later date.
