1.
Change your password and guest login details |

Visit your e-lottery website, click
all the buttons, get a good feel for how it all works. You can log
in to your website by
clicking here You will need your membership No. and your
password, these will have been sent to you in the post from
member support.

Change your password to something you
can remember easily. You can do this on the "My Details" page
of your e-lottery website.

Change your "Guest Login" info,
when you first join, you are given a referral link such as
http://www.v-w-d.com/18585JT
You may wish to
change this to something more memorable, I changed mine to
http://www.v-w-d.com/johnt
It's just the end
part (18585JT) bit that changes, you can still use the old one as well.
This is the link you use to give others to get them to your e-lottery
website. This is also done from the "My
Details" page of your e-lottery website.
There are also other links you can use that will take
visitors directly to certain sections of the website, these can be found
on the "Tools" page of your e- lottery website.
Check that your link is working ok by typing it into
your browser, when you land at the website, if all is ok, you should see
at the top "What-ever-your-name-is Welcomes You" This message can
also be changed.

2. Understand your products and website |
- Your affiliate back office is your
24-7 business partner. Your business partner will help you with all
your business needs. Visit your e-lottery website, click
all the buttons, get a good feel for how it all works. You can log
in to your website by
clicking here You will need your membership No. and your
password, these will have been sent to you in the post from
member support.
It is very
important that you study your entire website to understand all of it's
content - both the main pages as well as your back office.

Set aside time right now to
read through your entire website - click on every link and every button.

3. Place your stationary and DVD
order |
- You can place your order for
Brochures, Flyers, DVDs, etc at the "Online Shop" section of
your affiliate website.
e-lottery have provided us with a vast
array of marketing products to use both online and offline, how many of
each you need will depend on how you wish to approach your new business.
I would suggest for new affiliates the "Affiliate Starter Pack" (ASP)
which has a selection of all the materials you will need.
The company allows us to outsource the
printing of some materials. We are privileged to have a printer who is a
VWD member and has offered discount printing services to us. You may
wish to take advantage of this by visiting

2. Join Skype (It's free!)
Skype
If you haven't got Skype yet, you are missing out on a
superb telecom service and another source of free advertising! So what
is Skype? For those that don't know, Skype is an online telephone
service. But much more than that, there's "Chat" (similar to Windows
Messenger) video telecom, conference room, and more. The most amazing
thing about it, I think is that you can make voice calls to
another Skype user for free - no matter where they are in the world!
Calls to other normal telephones are much cheaper than BT etc ( I think
it's local rate to anywhere in the world) Plus for about £2.50 a
month you can get "Skype In" This gives you another phone number with
voice mail that you can use as a separate business line.
When you join (it's free) you download a piece of
software and that's it. Then you can set up your "Profile" Now this is a
great way to advertise your e-lottery business in the "About Me"
section! Take a look at my profile once you have Skype set up.
I feel this will be very useful for all of us and
especially those team members that are not based in the UK. Useful if
you have a problem and need an answer, you can call me for free no
matter where you are in the world. You can download Skype from
www.skype.com Please let me have your

3. Join in as many
Conference Calls as you can.
Ensure you are
familiar with the conference call schedule and are aware of the

4. Join in the live

order to get full benefit from the room so that you

If you have a camera so much the better (PC World
have an excellent deal on a headset and webcam for
just £19.99 at the moment)
Please spend some time in the room and familiarise
yourself with the menu’s on the top of the screen
Many of us are logging in early and then minimising
the room to the tray at the bottom of the screen,
keep your speakers on and you will hear when
somebody enters the room

4. Set up 3 way calling
on your home telephone It is
important to be able to have a 3 way call with
your new prospect, let me answer their questions
for you - let me enroll them for you! Setting up
3 way calling is easy, just contact your service
provider. As Skype develops and more and more
people use it, we will no longer have the need
to set up 3 ways on your home phone as we can do
it for free on Skype! But for now...

The
VWD Forum at
http://www.vwdforum.co.uk is a
superb place for new members to chat with other members of VWD You will
find all sorts of information there. I don't recommend you spend a long
time there initially, but just a quick visit so you know!
6. Freephone 0800 numbers
Consider getting an
0800 freephone number for your business, 0800
numbers (or UK Freephone numbers) are free for potential
customers to call from UK land lines, and enjoy widespread public
recognition as 'freephone numbers'. They give the public the impression
that you are confident, professional, and keen to do business, and in
competitive advertising can give a business the edge. In short, 0800's
are classic professional marketing numbers. Use them for business

You'll
want to create a plan for yourself. Many training systems for
referral marketing companies are complex and many people never
get to building their business because they get bogged down in
the training.
Your

6. Make a list of people you want
to share e-lottery with |
Make an
expanding list of everyone you know. For best results try to write out
100 names on your list over the next 48 hours. Then, each time you
think of someone new to share e-lottery with, add their name to the
list.
Use the Memory
Jogger to help you identify people for your list.
Use the Your
Names List to record all your contacts. (Please download these 2
documents by right clicking on the name or image and select "Save target
as" Then print them)
FINDING YOUR TOP 20 (PEARLS)
Aim to show the
program to the right people first. Create a separate list of
your TOP 20 using the following criteria:
Position-minded
individuals
Entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and energetic
Attitude (open-minded)
Risk taker, responsible
Leader
Sociable
This is the
list of prospects that you will contact first. Keep in mind that you
may have to sift through some sand before you find your PEARLS.
