Hunt is on for mystery Lotto winner
Lottery bosses today launched a hunt for a Glasgow punter who is unknowingly sitting on a small fortune.
The player scooped a whopping £110,935
after matching five main numbers and the bonus ball on Saturday, March
4.
But so far they have not come forward to
claim their prize.
Now National Lottery players in the city
are being urged to check their pockets, handbags and backs of sofas in
search of the golden ticket.
The winner matched a lucky combination
from 1, 16, 22, 32, 33, 44, and the bonus ball of 48.
They have until 5.30pm on August 31 to
step forward and claim the prize.
A National Lottery spokeswoman said: "We
are desperate to find this ticket-holder as it will certainly change
their lives.
"We have the champagne on ice and our
fingers crossed!"
Earlier this month, Scotland's biggest
ever unclaimed prize of £5.4m was given to the Lottery's Good Causes
fund after a player from North Lanarkshire failed to stake their claim.
